Raw Kiwi & Linseed Ice-Cream

In a previous post, I suggested you a beautiful and colorful Raw Blueberry Ice-Cream – if you missed it or haven’t come across it yet, you can check it out here. Now I will suggest you another but equally tasty ice-cream recipe!

Here is what you need to do this raw kiwi & linseed ice-cream:

  • 2 chopped bananas, previously frozen
  • 2 small to medium kiwis
  • 20 to 50ml of almond milk
  • linseed

If you don’t have already, chop your bananas and put them inside a food bag. Store it in the freezer for at least one night before using it in this preparation. After your bananas are frozen, mix them with your kiwis also chopped in chunks. Blend it altogether, adding some almond milk to make it easier.

It’s very important that you don’t use too much milk, so keep a close eye on the amount you use. We want to obtain a creamy texture and if we add too much milk we end up having a shake instead. Also, make sure that the bananas are well blended in the end.

When you feel happy with your ice-cream texture just spread it into a bowl. You can top it up with some linseed and give it a twist for a swirling cool effect!
